Arrival

After arrival at Entebbe Airport and visa processed, your chosen 4 Days Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trekking guide and driver will pick you and transfer you to your booked lodge in Entebbe or Kampala. Accommodation on arrival can be arranged at a cost.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

With an early morning, you will board on your Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Tracking Tour, heading south-West to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will stop over at the Equator for some photo shoots and Mbarara where you will take your lunch and visit the Igongo cultural center.

After lunch you will go for a museum tour where you will get an intuition into cultures of people in western Uganda then advance to Bwindi impenetrable forest as you relax the rest of the evening preparing for a electrifying experience of Mountain Gorilla Tracking the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking

With an early breakfast and a packed lunch, head out for the Gorilla Safari and Golden Monkey Trekking at the park headquarters in Nkuringo for a briefing just before you head to the jungle to encounter the gentle giants: the rare mountain gorilla. For most people this is the complete highlight of their Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Tracking safari.

Tracking is a fascination and remarkable experience which more than repays the efforts needed to reach Bwindi or Mgahinga and to trek through the forest. Gorilla tracking can be stimulating and needs one to be rationally fit before task to undertaking into the activity.

Once the gorillas are situated, you will spend one whole hour with them and then later return to the starting point for pick up.

Day 3: Golden monkey tracking

After breakfast, you will drive to Mgahinga national park for the golden monkey tracking. This Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Tracking Safari offers a rare chance to track these exclusive monkeys in the dense bamboo forests on the Gahinga trail.

Day 4: Transfer to Kigali international Airport

After breakfast, your Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Tracking safari driver will take you across the border into Rwanda, and drive upto Kigali city. This is a shorter 4-hours route as compared to heading back to Entebbe for 9 hrs. You’ll catch your flight back home at Kigali International airport.

End of Tour

The 4 Days Uganda Gorillas & Golden Monkey Trekking ends here. Any accommodation needed after end of trip will cost you an extra amount.

The price increases if you opt to travel as a solo traveler. Also, the price payable per person reduces from the stated amount when the tour is booked by more than two people.
